Here Comes The Sun...

Dear residents of Hackney Downs,

As we move closer to the warmer months, the longer days and brighter weather mean more opportunities to spend time outdoors. With this, we expect Hackney Downs Park to become a busier and more vibrant space. With the upcoming two‑week half‑term right around the corner, we hope everyone enjoys the break and has the chance to relax, explore, and make the most of the area.

As activity increases in the park, we unfortunately tend to see a rise in issues such as phone thefts and anti‑social behaviour. While we dont expect a rise in crime rates,  it’s important to stay aware of your surroundings, keep personal belongings secure, and look out for one another. Please rest assured that we will continue our routine patrols throughout the park to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all.

We want everyone to enjoy the season ahead, make positive memories, and feel confident using the park as a shared community space. Let’s all do our part to keep it enjoyable and safe for everyone.
